Britney Mejia is a Closing Specialist who helps clients navigate the final and often most important stage of their case with clarity and confidence.

Once a case settles, Britney works alongside the firm’s attorneys on the numbers that determine how much a client actually takes home. Together they review and negotiate medical bills, provider balances, and health insurance liens, and she prepares detailed settlement breakdowns that lay out every reduction, fee, cost, and net recovery amount, walking each client through every figure so they fully understand their settlement.

She also supports the attorneys on complex health insurance ERISA negotiations, working to secure meaningful reductions wherever possible to put more money back in the client’s pocket. Britney takes pride in making the process smooth, efficient, and stress-free, with most settlements disbursed within just three to four weeks of her first interaction with the client.

Passionate about supporting clients through the final stretch of a long and stressful journey, Britney provides clear communication, personalized attention, and diligent advocacy that help people move forward with confidence. She holds degrees in Mathematics and Science as well as Psychology, a background that strengthens her work in client relations, negotiations, and case resolution.

Outside of work, Britney enjoys walking her dogs, weight training, playing games with family and friends, and exploring nature with her husband.
